Introducing CATenary/PlanPro

CATenary/PlanPro draws a sag tension hyperbolic cosine (catenary) curve in 2D or 3D dimensional form within Autocad using the customized programming language of Autolisp. It uses hyperbolic functions along with user input specifications of conductor weight and line tension to determine sag values and draw the segmented polyline.

CATenary/PlanPro contains tools for estimating conductor lengths, create ruling span sag charts, evaluate clearances to ground and/or adjacent or crossing line conductors, and develop Lissajous ellipses.

CATenary/PlanPro can also upgrade existing 2D and 3D polylines created by other products to contain new sag tension values, change span lengths, and recreate to new sag tension values.
